Abstract

The pack for fragile objects, such as eggs (34), is folded from cardboard or similar material, and has at least two walls (8, 9 and 10, 11) forming a first V-shaped portion which is provided with pairs of openings capable of receiving parts of an egg and supporting this. The pack comprises two further walls (4, 5 and 6, 7) forming a second V-shaped portion which is integral with, and capable of being brought face to face with, the first portion. Adjacent to the apex. this second portion has openings cut out from both sides of the V. The arrangement is such that the eggs can be placed in the first portion and located in upright positions by the second when this is closed over the first.
