Abstract

A plant for mixing a metered quantity and converting the substances into viscous and adhesive end products such as glue. This is achieved by making use of signals produced to represent weighed quantities. The electrical information is obtained via strain gauges, which are converted into weighed units. The plant incorporates a supply container (1) a transportation system (2) which conveys the ingredients to a mixing vessel (3). The storage vessels and mixing vessel are all mounted on weighing boxes. The amount of ingredients supplied are controlled by programmed electronic equipment.
