Abstract

The machine comprises a frame (1) with a motor (2) on a hinged mount with a speed regulator (4) on the same axis as an endless belt drive (5) to the supply rollers (8, 9). The paper web passes over a horizontal table (14) past a vertical cutter blade (12) actuated by an eccentric drive controller by a magnetic coupling (13) in circuit with an adjustable photoelectric cell (19). The photocell cycle is selected according to the length of paper required. A typical application is as a feeder device to a large printing or copying machine. The second assembly of the endless belt drive train is moved at a sped faster than that of the first assembly.
