Abstract

Carburettor with constant reduced press., as in 2157533, has the elastic reset units of the additional throttle flap of the auxiliary channel tensioned by an initial regulator for idling and also by at least one of the parameters; engine temp., air filter pressure drop, degree of dilution of the mixture by recirculated exhaust gases, a voltage from a probe for CO content of exhaust gases, temp. of air entering the engine, and atmos. press. Preferably the tension is increased when the main throttle flaps are in the idling position. The additional throttle flap is reset by one end of a spring whose other end is attached with adjustable positioning to an arm that is jointed at one end and has its other end acted on, via springs, by the respective parameters.
