Abstract

The housing contains a movable component dividing it into separate chambers, one filled with gas under pressure and the other having an opening for delivery and discharge of fluid. Means are included for varying the volume of the gas-filled chamber independent of movement of the dividing component. The gas chamber can have a tubular section containing a sliding piston lockable in several different positions, typically by means of a screw working in a tapped bore in it. The housing can be in two parts, which can be rotated in relation to each other.
