Abstract

Bale loader coupled to tractor dream baling press, handles bales for positioning and forming into a predetermined stack pattern. The bales arrive from the baling press along a trough shaped longitudinal frame in parallel groups which are periodically turned about a horizontal axis, such that the longest side of the bale pivots over approx. 90 deg. The groups are then pushed along into a storage space, whilst during or before pivot movement a new group of bales is formed in a servo controlled pivoting/lighting device having 3 enclosed sides, and which forms alternate longitudinal and transverse positioned layers which promote a more stable stack formation.
