Abstract

Anode assembly for cathodic protection of a ship's hull against corrosion, and more esp. for its use with an applied potential across the cathode and anode, consisting of an anode and a dielectric shield between this and the hull. The anode takes the form of a flexible rod fixed at intervals to the shield by clamps in such a way that the whole anode is exposed.
