Abstract
The surface to be coated is treated, prior to being painted, with a compn. prepd. by mixing a substance (which contains a functional atomic gp. linked to one or two OH or epoxy gps. and which forms a chemical link between two film layers), with a suitable organic solvent which can rapidly penetrate the surface of and activate the film to be treated.
