Description
TRAPTRAP
The invention relates to a staircase comprising at least two stair trees extending in a longitudinal direction of the stair from an underside to an upper side thereof and spaced apart from each other, as well as stair steps extending transversely between the stair trees and spaced apart from each other and which interconnect the staircase trees, wherein the staircase is adapted to rest near its bottom side on a floor of a building and to be arranged near its top side on a higher floor of the building. The staircase is in particular mounted with its top side in an opening of a ceiling of the building, while its bottom side rests on a floor of the building. In practice, the stair trees are also called stair styles.
The invention also refers to a method for mounting the staircase.
2020
Such a staircase is generally known. The known staircase for homes is made to measure and is therefore manufactured in advance. The known staircase must therefore always be adapted to specific, local dimensional and angle deviations.
2525
A drawback of the known step is that customizing it is not only time-consuming and expensive, but must also be carried out by skilled craftsmen.
The object of the invention is to improve the state of the art, that is to obviate the drawbacks of the known step.
22
To this end, a staircase of the type mentioned in the preamble according to the invention has the special feature that the stair trees form first stair trees and that the staircase also comprises at least two second stair trees, wherein the second stair trees are located next to the first stair trees and on either side of the stair steps and wherein the stair steps are rotatably connected to the first and second stair trees and together with the first and second stair trees form a parallelogram construction. The first and second stair trees not only form a parallelogram with a lower stair step and an upper stair step, but the first and second stair trees also form (sub) parallelograms with all intermediate stair steps. On the basis of the parallelogram construction according to the invention, the stair treads are rotated in the mounted state of the stair to a position in which the stair treads are parallel to the horizontal. This makes it possible for the stair trees to have a standard length, independent of a distance between the ceiling and the floor. In the mounted condition of the staircase, an angle enclosed between the staircase trees and the floor then depends on the distance between the ceiling and the floor. In the mounted state of the stairs, the stair treads are in their horizontal position for subsequently being fixed with respect to the first and the second stair trees.
The stair trees and the stair steps are preferably made of aluminum.
In a preferred embodiment of a staircase according to the invention, the staircase steps are rotatably connected to the first and the second staircase trees about horizontal axes of rotation that extend transversely to the longitudinal direction of the staircase.
In a further preferred embodiment of a staircase according to the invention - in the transport condition of the staircase - the staircase trees and the stair steps form separate parts. In another preferred variant - in the transport condition of the stairs - the stair trees and the stair steps are interconnected. In the latter case, the staircase can preferably be set up from a flat position corresponding to the transport condition to an erected position corresponding to an assembled condition. This concerns a folding staircase.
In a further preferred embodiment of a staircase according to the invention, the staircase steps can be fixed in the second position relative to the staircase trees. Preferably, there is talk of an exclusively clamping fixation.
As stated, the invention also relates to a method for mounting a staircase comprising - at least two first staircase trees extending in a longitudinal direction of the staircase from a lower side to an upper side thereof, at least two second stair trees extending in the longitudinal direction of the stairs from the bottom to the top thereof, spaced apart, second stair trees extending next to the first stair trees, and - stair steps extending transversely between the first and the second stair trees are placed at a distance and which mutually connect the first and second stair trees respectively, wherein the stair steps are rotatably connected to the first and the second stair trees and together with the first and the second stair trees form a parallelogram construction, the staircase first being adjacent its top a floor of a building is installed and then near its o is supported on a lower floor of the building on the lower side, with rotation of the stair steps, and wherein the stair steps are rotated parallel to the horizontal in the mounted state of the stair.
The invention will be further elucidated with reference to figures shown in a drawing, in which - figure 1 shows a standardized staircase in a preferred variant according to the invention in a flat position schematically and in perspective; Figure 2 schematically and in perspective shows the stairs of figure 1 in set up position; figure 3 relates to the step of figure 2 in the mounted state; figures 4 and 5 schematically show in side view that the stairs of figure 1 can be used for different heights between a floor and a ceiling; and - figures 6 and 7 schematically show the way in which the stair steps of figure 4 can be fixed with respect to stair trees of the stair of figure 1.
With reference to figures 1 and 2, the staircase 1 consists of two, firstly spaced, first stair trees 5, 2, and of several stair steps 4. In this specific case, the stair 1 furthermore consists of stair railings 5 staircase trees 6,6 'on either side of the staircase 1 are connected to the staircase trees 2,3. As shown, the first stair trees 2,3 on the one hand and the second stair trees 6,6 'on the other are interconnected by means of several stair steps 4 extending transversely between the first stair trees 2,3 and the second stair trees 6,6'. In other words, the stair steps 4 are supported at their opposite, short ends by the first stair trees 2,3 on the one hand and the second stair trees 6,6 'on the other hand. In figure 1 the staircase 1 is in the collapsed transport position, wherein the first staircase trees 2,3, the second staircase trees 6,6 'and the staircase steps 4 are situated in a flat plane for easy transport.
In figure 2 the staircase 1 is in the unfolded position, ready to be mounted (figure 3). As shown, all stair steps 4 are rotatable about horizontal rotational axes 7, the rotational axes 7 being perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the stair 1, i.e. the stair trees 2,3,6,6 '. As shown, the stair steps 4 are therefore rotatably connected about the axis of rotation 7 to both the first stair trees 2,3 and the second stair trees 6,6 '.
The staircase 1 is hereby arranged near its upper side on a higher part of a building (for example an opening 8 in a ceiling 9 which provides access to a roof hatch 10). The staircase 1 rests near its lower side on a lower part of the building, for example a floor 11. The first staircase trees 2,3, the 6 second staircase trees 6,6 'and the staircase steps 4 form a parallelogram construction, the staircase steps 4 upon assembly of the stairs 1 automatically assume their horizontal position, regardless of a distance between the ceiling 9 and the floor 11.
As stated, the stage 1 of figure 1 is a standardized stage as opposed to a custom-made stage according to the prior art. This means that parts of the staircase 1, that is to say the first staircase trees 2,3, the second staircase trees 6,6 ', the steps 4 and the stair railings 5 have standard dimensions, irrespective of a distance between the ceiling 9 and the floor 11. This is shown in figures 4 and 5, wherein in figure 4 that distance is d1 and in figure 5 that distance is d2, and wherein d1 is greater than d2. An angle enclosed between the staircase trees 2,3,6,6 'and the floor 11 then depends on the distance between the ceiling 9 and the floor 11. In other words, in figure 4 that angle is a and in figure 5 that angle is angle (3, where 20 a is greater than (3. Regardless of the distance d1 or d2 become, due to the parallelogram construction, the stair treads 4 are rotated in a horizontal position, ie parallel to the floor 11, and subsequently rotated to the stair gates 2,3 , 6,6 'to be clamped in that position.
2525
Figure 5 shows schematically the manner in which the stair steps 4 of Figure 4 can be clampedly fixed relative to the first stair trees 2,3 and the second stair trees 6,6 '. Use is made herein of thread inserts 12 which are provided in pre-drilled holes 13 in the stair gates 2,3,6,6 ', as well as thread-containing bolts 14 which are tightened in the thread inserts 12.
Voorts wordt gebruik gemaakt ringen 15.Furthermore, rings 15 are used.
77
It is noted that the invention is not limited to the drawn embodiment, but also extends to other preferred variants that fall within the scope of the appended claims. It will thus be clear to a person skilled in the art that the stair trees 2, 3 and the stair treads 4 can also be transported as separate parts to a location to be assembled at that location into a stair 1. Furthermore, it will be clear that the stair railings 5 are not essential parts of the staircase 1.
