Abstract

The collapsible container (1) for piece goods comprises a base (2) with two downwardly foldable, hinge-connected longitudinal side walls (3), head side walls (4) and a roof (5). To ensure that both longitudinal side walls can rest on the base they have hinge lines with the base which have a height clearance corresponding with the wall thickness of a longitudinal side wall. The two head side walls also are hinge-connected to the base and have a hinge line which runs through the base at some distance from the corner points near the side wall in question. The head side walls are coupled to the roof by suspension bars.
