Abstract

In the present invention, there is disclosed a process for preparing oils from hydrocarbon feedstock comprising the following steps of: (a) conversion of the feedstock with simultaneous hydroisomerization of at least a portion of n-paraffins from the feedstock wherein said feedstock contains less than 1000 ppm of sulfur, less than 200 ppm of nitrogen, less than 50 ppm of metals and no more than 0.2 percent of oxygen, wherein the conversion step is carried out at a temperature ranging from 200 to 500 degC, at a pressure of 2 to 25 MPa and space velocity in the range of 0.1-10 he1, in the presence of hydrogen and a catalyst containing at least one noble metal deposited on an amorphous silicate-aluminium support; and (b) catalytic deparaffination of part (preferably all) of the effluent from the step (a) carried out at a temperature ranging from 200 to 500 degC, at a pressure of 1 to 25 MPa and a space velocity in the range of 0.05 to 50 he1 in the presence of hydrogen whose concentration ranges within 50 to 2000 l of hydrogen per 1 liter of effluent from the step (a) and in the presence of a catalyst comprising at least one hydro-dehydrogenating element and at least one molecular sieve.
