Abstract

The door or window construction, includes two opposite posts or jambs, also fittings for assembling hinge parts. The parts for fitting the hinges have recesses for the hinge blocks. The recess (8) is pref. a dovetailed groove. The groove runs the entire length of post (2,3) and accommodates locking parts (16) whilst pref. a stop plate (17) can be secured in the recess.
