Abstract

Wheel has a rim a hub and a number of spokes (30), mfd. in one piece from fibre-reinforced plastic material. The spoke ha a section (33) with an oval cross section, pref. with a width:thickness ratio of about 4:1, such that the width is oriented in a direction parallel to a plane of the wheel and the thickness is perpendicular to it. Width is pref. 6-20 mm. Spokes also have a foot section (34) which has a screws connection (35) for attachment to the rim. Pref. fibre-reinforced plastic is glass fibres-reinforced nylon.
