Abstract

The template is a flat sheet of rigid or semi rigid material which is placed between and alongside keys on the keyboard. It carries pictograms which indicate the function of various keys, e.g. the row of function keys and the navigation key pad. The pictograms can be changed by the user. Alternatively, separate templates can be used for different applications.
