Disclosed is a method to produce a self-healing bio-concrete to seal one or more cavities in a concrete element. The method comprises steps of preparing a concrete mixture. The concrete mixture comprises a predefined density of cement, a predefined density of fine aggregates, a predefined density of coarse aggregates and a predefined density of water. The method then prepares a bacteria broth. The bacteria broth comprises a predefined percentage of bacteria, a predefined amount of urea, a predefined amount of Calcium Nitrate, silane solution, and a predefined amount of yeast extract. Then the method casts the prepared concrete mixture, and the bacteria broth to obtain the self-healing bio-concrete to seal the cavities in the concrete element.
