Abstract

Outer rotor-type electric motor (2) is provided with stator (20) having stator iron core (16) provided with a plurality of slots in a circular ring shape, stator windings wound in the plurality of slots, and insulator (7) provided between the stator windings and stator iron core (16) and insulating the stator windings from stator iron core (16). Outer rotor-type electric motor (2) is further includes rotor (18) rotatably attached to face an outer circumferential side surface of stator iron core (16). The plurality of slots is configured of a plurality of outer circumferential side slots provided inward from the outer circumferential side surface of stator iron core (16) and a plurality of inner circumferential side slots provided. further inward than the plurality of outer circumferential side slots. The stator windings are configured of inner circumferential side stator windings (8) wound in the plurality of inner circumferential side slots and outer circumferential side stator windings (9) wound in the plurality of outer circumferential side slots. Circular ring-shaped crossover line support portion (41) is provided inward from the plurality of inner circumferential side slots. Crossover line support portion (41) has locking portion (45) projecting in a rotational axis direction and supports crossover line (42) crossing between the windings of inner circumferential side stator windings (8) by causing crossover line (42) to cross over the inner circumferential side of locking portion (45).
