Abstract

The present invention discloses a system for detecting defective article comprises a conveyor line (200) carries a plurality of conductive formers (300), each conductive former (300) has the article formed thereon, to pass through a testing station (400); wherein the testing station (400) comprises: a first conductive means (410) for contacting with the incoming conductive former (300); a second conductive means (420) for contacting with the incoming article; a complete electrical circuit is induced between the first conductive means (410) and the second conductive means (420) when the second conductive means (420) contacts with a defective article; and means for sensing the status of the electrical circuit; characterised in that the second conductive means (420) is in the form of a brush with a bristle end (421), the brush is rotating about its center axis to contact with the incoming article.
