Abstract

A vane-type fluid transmission device includes a rotor (20) eccentrically located in the room (13) of a stator (10) and the outer periphery of the rotor (20) is tangent to the inner periphery (132) of the room (13). At least one blade (32, 34) is pivotably connected to stator (10) and movably inserted in at least one slot (23) of the rotor (20). The distal end of the at least one blade (32, 34) is in contact with the inner periphery (132) of the room (13) so as to form a space for receiving fluid between the outer periphery of the rotor (20) and the inner periphery (132) of the room (13). The contact between the at least one blade (32, 34) and the inner periphery (132) of the room (13) increases the efficiency for transmitting fluid which enters into the stator (10) from an inlet (14) and leaves from the stator (10) from an outlet (15).
