Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for identifying a genetic marker linked to a trait locus of a plant comprising the steps of measuring phenotypic parameter of plant, developing and screening markers, and conducting data analyses to identify genetic marker. The marker relates to gene that suppresses level of auxin and associated with height increment. (Figure 1)
