Abstract

Provided are a storage cabinet and a refrigerator that allow a door to be opened to 90 degrees or more, despite the storage cabinet or refrigerator being installed with the side face disposed close to a wall. A refrigerating compartment left door (3) for closing an opening of a refrigerator (1) includes a left door frame (28) and a left front panel (31 a). A relief portion (28a3) is provided in a comer portion formed by a side portion (28a2) and a front portion (28al) of the left door frame (28). A length of a line segment C extending from a position on a panel front face D where the left front panel (31 a) is thickest in a horizontal cross-sectional view, to an imaginary line segment extending from a shaft of the lower hinge (45) orthogonally to the side portion (28a2), in a direction orthogonal to the imaginary line segment, is shorter than a distance B between the shaft and a distal point in the relief portion (28a3). The left end portion G of the left front panel (31 a) is located inside a circle around adjacent one of the shafts as a center, the center having a radius equal to the length from the shaft to the distal point (distance B).
