Abstract
THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE LOAD IS CARRIED OUT BY USING A PREDETERMINED LOAD DIAGRAM, COMBINED WITH A MEASUREMENT OF THE FORCE BORNE BY THE COUNTER JIB TIE BAR OF THE CRANE. DEPENDING ON THE RADIUS (P) OF THE CRANE AS A RESULT OF THE POSITION OF ITS JIB, AT LEAST TWO SEPARATE LOAD CURVES ARE USED ALTERNATELY, EITHER A FIRST LOAD CURVE (B) USED BETWEEN THE MINIMUM RADIUS (PM) AND AN INTERMEDIATE RADIUS (PO) AND AT LEAST ONE FURTHER LOAD CURVE (C) USED BETWEEN THE INTERMEDIATE RADIUS AND THE MAXIMUM RADIUS (PM), THIS FURTHER LOAD CURVE CORRESPONDING TO A GREATER LOAD MOMENT.
