Abstract
THE INVENTION CONCERNS AN OPTOELECTRONIC FORCE METER FOR MEASURING THE LOAD OF ELEVATOR CARS.@THIS METER INCLUDES A RIGID STEEL CYLINDRICAL BOX HAVING AN ELASTIC DEFORMATION CHARACTERISTIC SO THAT THE HEIGHT OF ITS UPPER FACE (13) WITH RESPECT TO THE LOWER FACE (9) VARIES ACCORDING TO THE LOAD APPLIED TO THE LATTER. IT COMPRISES AT LEAST ONE THIN PLATE PORTION (19) FIXED UNDER THE UPPER FACE (13) OF THE BOX AND TRANSVERSAL TO THE LATTER, SAID THIN PLATE PORTION (19) BEING PROVIDED WITH AN ELONGATED SLOT (27) PERMITTING THE PASSAGE OF A LIGHT FLOW, SAID SLOT BEING DISPOSED BETWEEN A LIGHT SOURCE (21) AND A LIGHT DETECTOR (23) IN A FIXED POSITION WITH RESPECT TO THE LOWER FACE (9), AND A ELECTRONIC UNIT FOR PROCESSING THE SIGNAL TRANSMITTED BY SAID LIGHT DETECTOR SO AS TO DETERMINE THE FORCE APPLIED TO THE UPPER FACE (13) OF THE BOX.@@(FIG. 1)
