Abstract

A VEHICLE TRAILING ARM SUSPENSION STRUCTURE IS PROVIDED WHICH INCLUDES A TORSION BEAM (2) EXTENDING WIDTHWISE OF THE VEHICLE, AND A PAIR OF TRAILING ARMS (1) EACH CONNECTED TO A RESPECTIVE END OF THE TORSION BEAM (2). EACH OF THE TRAILING ARMS (1) IS FORMED, ON ITS WIDTHWISE INNER SIDE (1A), WITH A FIRST OPENING (14). THE TORSION BEAM (2) IS INSERTED THROUGH THE FIRST OPENING (14) AND ATTACHED THERETO BY FIRST WELDING (W1). THE TRAILING ARM (1) IS FORMED, ON ITS WIDTHWISE OUTER SIDE (1B), WITH A SECOND OPENING (15). THE END OF THE TORSION BEAM (2) EXTENDS INTO THE SECOND OPENING (15) AND IS ATTACHED THERETO BY SECOND WELDING (W2).FIGURE 1
