THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY ELEMENT (11) IS SUPPLIED FOR PREDETERMINED TIME PERIOD WITH SUBSTANTIALLY PERIODICALLY APPLIED VOLTAGE IMPULSES (18) OF A PREDETERMINED AMPLITUDE AND A PREDETERMINED IMPULSE DURATION. THE REQUIRED DC SIGNAL (13) IS PROVIDED BY A LOW RESISTANCE DC VOLTAGE SOURCE (23).
