Description

PERFECTED CART FOR THE STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION OF CERAMIC PRODUCTS BETWEEN THE WORKING STATIONS DESCRIPTION The present invention relates to an improved cart for the storage of ceramic products between work stations. For a long time, especially in the ceramics industry, big cars have been used for the storage and transport of the products between the different stations in which they must be worked, that is, made. These well-known cars, which in general and in the following text are called "boxes", consist essentially of a base provided with integral wheels with fixed legs, above which they are + welded, or fixed with screws and nuts, doe laterals, each crossed by rows and columns, substantially coplanapas, of calibrated holes, in which are inserted corresponding rolls mounted crazy and actionable in rotation, when necessary, in various ways and with the intervention of suitable machines; these rollers form a plurality of parallel and superimposed planes on which said products precisely rest- The possibility of activating said rollers in rotation allows the products to be extracted from the planes of each box, or inserted, automatically. The aforementioned known boxes, although quite functional, have presented some drawbacks due essentially to their remarkable dimensions and weights. More particularly, it has been found that under particularly heavy conditions, or on the normal translation on rails when these are not completely coplanar and are not provided with some means of adjustment, the entire structure of the box undergoes deformations that cause it to be lost. the necessary alignment between the sides and, consequently, between the rows and columns of holes made therein, and the rollers held between said holes, both are simply supported as if they are mounted with the interposition of conventional means of centering and rotation , work in partial friction conditions instead of turning completely free. This problem must be avoided, in particular, when the boxes are located in correspondence of the machine that must put in motion the rollers for the loading or unloading of the ceramic products: in fact, these machines are provided with arms, at their Once equipped with a series of tips suitable to be inserted with precision and automatically, with an approach maneuver, at the ends of the rollers, to then put them on rotationally, therefore, this insert presents a lot of difficulty, and the rollers unaligned and loaded with the weight of the material offer considerable resistance to rotation. The technical purpose of the present invention is to solve these problems of the known art, by making an improved cart for the storage and transport of ceramic products between the work stations that is free of any type of deformation, independently of the conditions of use, that is also apilabie when it parks, without the need for large spaces. These other objectives are achieved by an improved cart for the storage and transport of ceramic products between the work stations, consisting of a baee and a pair of vertical flat sides that rise above it, which presents rows and columns of holes of insertion and support of corresponding idle mounted rotating rollers, characterized in that said laterals each form, in a single piece, a support means on the ground, wheel means that are self-centering in the translation phase of the carriage on rails , and elements that are autocent before in the lifting phase of the carriage with known high means, said base being constituted by at least a pair of stringers joining the sides, with interposition of reciprocal centering means, being mountable on said sides a flat coverage roof and stiffening.
Other features and advantages will become more evident with the description of a preferred embodiment of an improved cart for the storage and transport of ceramic products between the work stations, illustrated by way of indication and not limiting in the sheets of accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 shows in front view an improved car according to the invention; Figure 2 shows in detail on an enlarged scale the means of reciprocal centering between beams and sides; Figure 3 is an elevational view of the cart improved in accordance with the invention. With particular reference to these figures, it has been indicated in conjunction with the number 1 an improved cart for the storage and transport of ceramic products between the different work stations. The carriage 1 is essentially composed of a base 2 and a pair of flat vertical sides 3 which rise above it and which have rows and columns of holes 4 in which corresponding freely rotating rollers 5 can be inserted; more precisely, said laterals 3 each form, in a single piece, support means 6 on the ground, and said base 2 is constituted simply by a pair of stringers 7 suitable to join together the laterals 3, so that these remain confronted and parallel.
Between the ends of the stringers 7 and the said laterals 3 there are interposed means 8 of reciprocal centering and, above, a flat roof 9 is provided, movable, covering and locking the structure formed by assembling the stringers 7 and the sides together. 3. The latter, in their lower part, are each provided, in addition to said support means 6 on the ground, also wheel means, autocenantes when the car is put in translation on rails 11 and elements 12 , self-centering when the carriage 1 is raised with known lifting means, indicated schematically with reference 13. The support means 6 on the ground are constituted by at least one pair of legs 6a formed in one piece with each side 3 and that remain slightly sunken with respect to the outer edges of these. The reciprocal centering means 8 are constituted by corresponding pins 14 projecting from the ends of the stringers 7 and which are insertable with precision in corresponding calibrated holes 15 made in the lower area of each side 3, below the first horizontal row of holes 4, and formed in correspondence with the vertical axes of said legs 6a. The self-centering means 10 for translation on the rails 11 of the carriage 1 are constituted by corresponding pairs of wheels 16 mounted below the sides 3 between the edges thereof and the legs 6a; of these wheels, the homologous wheels 16 of the sides 3 are formed with a throat 16a of width that can be coupled with precision to the head of a rail 11, and the corresponding opposite ones are formed with a wide throat 16b, to perform a coupling with play with the head of the corresponding rail 11. Finally, the self-centering elements 12 are constituted by pairs of wedges 17, arranged in such a way that their narrowings make them converge towards each other, and formed in one piece and protruding in the lower part of each side 3, inside the legs 6a. The operation of the invention is as follows: each carriage 1 is assembled as appropriate, coupling together a pair of sides 3 with a pair of stringers 7 of suitable length in relation to the storage capacity and transport that the carriage must have. In the assembly phase, the pins 14 are inserted in the corresponding calibrated holes 15 to perform the perfect alignment between the components of the structure.
Above, the roof 9 for coverage and equalization is also mounted. Each side 3 forms the legs 6a, which are formed in one piece with it, and is provided, preventively to the assembly of the carriage 1, of pairs of wheels 16.
Of the latter, one has a centered groove 16a whose transverse width is such that it precisely engages with the head of a corresponding rail 11 on which it bears, and the other has a groove L6b whose transverse width is slightly greater than said head. rail 11 on which it must support: this consents, once the carriage 1 has been assembled, with the precaution of arranging, at homologous ends, the wheels with grooves 16a and 16b, to automatically absorb and compensate transversally any misalignments between the rails 11, eliminating thus any request that may shred on the structure of the carriage 1, producing on said deformations mdeseadas; furthermore, since they are directly applied to the sides 3, they directly receive the load resting on them, and, due to the set of rollers 5 without eccentricity that would cause tensions of moment tlector and the Light that is defined between them and the plane of the floor , consists of the adoption of rails 11 provided with suitable micrometting and vertical adjustment means to eliminate possible misalignments thereof. Between the legs 6a are also provided the pairs of wedges 17 which, when the carriage 1 is raised with conventional lifting means 13, are suitable for precisely fitting with the supports of which these are generally provided, eliminating, also in this configuration activation of the carriage 1, possible stresses on the structure, with the appearance of deformations. It should be noted or last, although not least, the possibility of assembling the perfected car, which, as has been said, allows both direction according to the needs of each user as well as storing their components separately in a relatively small space. It has thus been found that the described invention achieves the stated purposes. The invention thus conceived is susceptible of modifications and variants, all of them encompassed within the inventive concept. In addition, all the details may be replaced by other technically equivalent elements. In the practical embodiment of the invention, the materials used, as well as the shapes and dimensions, may be any, depending on the requirements, without thereby abandoning the scope of protection of the following claims.
