Description
IMPROVEMENTS IN DEPOSITS FOR LIQUIDS DB PLASTIC MATERIAL
D E S C R I P C T ION
The present invention relates in general to tanks for storing liquids and more specifically to so-called tanks or tanks for storing liquids, especially though not exclusively for use in storage and distribution of water in apartment buildings or individual houses.
The storage tanks for water or liquids, in general "drum" type formed of sheet and in particular ringed sheet, are known.
Also known are storage tanks for liquids or asbestos water, cement, possibly with three or four support legs.
Tanks have also been used for storage of water or liquids of plastic, cylindrical material, with the axis of the cylinder vertical or with the cylinder axis horizontal.
In the tanks or tanks with vertical cylindrical shaft and made of flexible plastic flat bottom with side exit has been used.
The flat bottom of the tinacos forces to place these deposits on a flat surface, where the placement on a not flat surface would deform it with the weight of the water.
THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention is to overcome the disadvantages found in plastic containers for containing liquids and more precisely to avoid the deformation that can be caused in the bottom with the weight of the water.
Therefore, the object of the present invention is to provide plastic deposits that can obviously be placed on a flat surface, but alternatively they can also be placed on two parallel or oblique beams without suffering deformations caused by water pressure.
To carry out the foregoing, deposits are provided for liquids that have different genetic alternatives on the lower part that give it strength of shape and that allow the tinaco to support itself well, either on a flat surface as it is done with all that exists in the market. , or also on two parallel beams or oblique as the bottom will not deform with the weight of the water.
The drainage of the tanks of the present invention may be lateral as is common, or may be by the center in case it is placed on two stringers.
Eventually the tank of the present invention may have support parts without thereby departing from the spirit and field of the invention which must be contemplated in its broadest and non-limiting sense.
The drawings show two preferred embodiments, but not the only ones, of the present invention, ie the bottom of the tanks that is the basis of the invention, regardless of how the body of the tank and / or the upper part is and cover of said deposit.
Figure 1 shows a tinaco made according to the invention in one embodiment.
Figure 2 shows still another embodiment of the present invention.
Figure 3 is a bottom perspective view of the reservoir of Figure 2.
Figure 4 is a bottom perspective view of the reservoir of Figure 1.
Figure 5 is a top plan view of the reservoir of Figures 1 and 3; Y
Figure 6 is a top plan view of the reservoir of Figures 1 and 4.
With reference to the figures, a tank, tank or tinaco 1 is shown especially, but not exclusively for storage of water, comprising a cover 2, a body 3 and a bottom 4; in the figures
1, 4 and 6 the bottom 4 is provided with rectangular and radial channels 5 which are preferably symmetrically distributed around the bottom 4 of the tank and in this case a central drain 6 is illustrated (although the drain can be made lateral). Figures 2, 3 and 5 show another embodiment of the tinaco bottom provided with triangular radial channels 7 and also uniformly distributed around the bottom and with the front drain 6.
Obviously other embodiments of the invention can be envisaged, that is to say increase the number of rectangular or triangular channels or change their shape or distribution without thereby departing from the invention since the basic novelty of this is a tinaco with channels in the lower wall that they reinforce the water tank so that it can be placed not only on a flat surface, but also on rows of partitions or stringers without suffering deformation due to water pressure. Also, although the drain has been illustrated by the center of the bottom of the tank, this can be done and preferably done laterally as it is in conventional systems.
R E I V I ND I CAC I ONE S
1. - Improvements in deposits for liquids of plastic material, especially but not exclusively for water storage, of the type comprising a generally cylindrical body with an upper lid, a bottom and a drain, either central or lateral; characterized the improvements in that the fund is provided with channels.
2. - Improvements in deposits for liquids of plastic material according to clause 1, characterized in that the bottom is provided with radial rectangular channels distributing symmetrically in the bottom.
3. - Improvements in deposits for liquids of plastic material according to clause 1, characterized in that the bottom is provided with radial triangular channels distributed symmetrically in the bottom.
IN WITNESS WHEREOVER, I sign the present in this City of Mexico, D.F., this day, July 5, one thousand nine hundred and ninety six.
