Abstract

Metodo para pronosticar litologia y porosidad de rocas subterraneas a partir de datos sismicos de reflexion. Los datos sismicos se invierten para producir propiedades elasticas de las rocas tal como las impedancias por compresion y esfuerzo cortante. Un modelo fisico de la roca se construye para relacionar la porosidad, la fraccion de volumen de esquisto, el contenido de fluido de la roca y las propiedades elasticas de la roca. El modelo se corre hacia atras en un segundo proceso de inversion para resolver la porosidad y las propiedades litologicas tal como la fraccion de volumen de esquisto.
