MONTAJE DE PREFORMA, MONTAJE DE RECIPIENTE Y METODO DE FABRICACION CAMPO DE LA INVENCION La presente invención está dirigida a las preformas para moldear por soplado recipientes de plástico, a los recipientes moldeados por soplado a partir de tales preformas, y a los métodos para la elaboración de tales preformas y recipientes . ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓN En la fabricación de los recipientes de plástico, es convencional moldear por inyección o moldear por compresión una preforma de recipiente que tiene un cuerpo y un acabado de cuello con una o más roscas externas . El acabado de cuello típicamente es moldeado a su geometría final, mientras que el cuerpo de la preforma es subsecuentemente moldeado por soplado a la geometría deseada del cuerpo del recipiente. La preforma puede ser de construcción de monocapa, o puede ser una construcción de capas múltiples en la cual una o más capas intermedias en el cuerpo de la preforma pueden o no extenderse dentro del área de acabado del cuello de la preforma. Ref . : 166522 BREVE DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA INVENCIÓN El moldeo de la porción de acabado del recipiente, como parte de la preforma, presenta un número de problemas. Por ejemplo, cuando las preformas son formadas mediante moldeo por inyección, el material plástico típicamente es inyectado dentro de una cavidad de molde en el extremo cerrado del cuerpo de la preforma, de modo que el material debe fluir a lo largo de los lados de la cavidad de la preforma hacia el área en la cual se moldea el acabado. El acabado típicamente requiere dimensionamiento más preciso y estable que el cuerpo de la preforma, que puede limitar el tiempo de ciclo del proceso de moldeo. Además, la porción de acabado de la preforma es del mismo material que al menos las capas exteriores del cuerpo de la preforma, lo cual limita la habilidad para obtener las características más deseables en el acabado. Un método para fabricar un recipiente de plástico que tiene un cuerpo y un acabado con al menos una rosca externa, de acuerdo con un primer aspecto de la presente invención, incluye la provisión de una preforma de plástico que tiene un cuerpo y un cuello, y moldeando por soplado el cuerpo de la preforma para formar el cuerpo del recipiente . Ya sea antes de o subsecuente al moldeo por soplado del cuerpo del recipiente, el cuello de la preforma es radial y circunferencialmente expandido. Un anillo de acabado que tiene al menos una rosca externa es asegurado a la superficie externa del cuello después de la expansión del cuello. DESCRIPCIÓN DETALLADA DE LAS MODALIDADES PREFERIDAS La Figura 1 ilustra un montaje 10 de recipiente de acuerdo con un aspecto de la presente invención que incluye un cuerpo 12 y un acabado 14. El cuerpo 12 puede ser de cualquier geometría adecuada, con un cuerpo cilindrico que es mostrado para fines de ilustración únicamente. El acabado 14 incluye medios de aseguramiento de cierre adecuados, tales como una o más roscas externas o segmentos de rosca 16. El acabado ilustrado 14 también incluye una protuberancia 18 para cooperar con los medios indicadores de manipulación indebida sobre un cierre, y un soporte o pestaña de tapa 20. De acuerdo con la presente invención, el acabado 14 es proporcionado como un anillo separadamente del recipiente 12, y es externamente asegurado al cuello 22 del recipiente 12 después de la expansión circunferencial y radial del cuello subyacente, ya sea antes de o subsecuente al moldeo por soplado del cuerpo 12 del recipiente. La expansión del cuello de la preforma antes de o subsecuente al moldeo por soplado de cuerpo del recipiente, tiene la ventaja de al menos orientar molecularmente parcialmente el cuello cuando la preforma es de construcción orientable tal como PET. Además, se incrementa el rendimiento de operación de moldeo de la preforma en comparación con las preformas de moldeo que tienen cuellos agrandados.
Las Figuras 2A-2D ilustran un método para fabricar el recipiente 12 de acuerdo con la presente invención. Una preforma 24 es formada primeramente mediante moldeo por inyección o compresión. La preforma 24 incluye un cuerpo 26 que es subsecuentemente moldeado por soplado para formar el cuerpo 12 del recipiente 10, y un cuello cilindrico 28 que es subsecuentemente expandido para formar el cuello 22 del recipiente 12. En la Figura 2B, el cuerpo 26 de la preforma ha sido moldeado por soplado para formar el cuerpo 12 del recipiente, mientras - que el cuello 28 ha retenido la misma geometría que en la preforma 24. En la Figura 2C, el cuello 28 ha sido radial y circunferencialmente expandido para formar el cuello 22 del recipiente final. Tal expansión radial y circunferencial puede ser lograda empleando cualquier medio adecuado, tal como un cono o mandril de expansión, y puede ser logrado en pasos simples o múltiples. En la Figura 2D, el anillo de acabado 14 es asegurado sobre el cuello 22 del recipiente, expandido. Tal aseguramiento del anillo de acabado puede ser mediante ajuste por interferencia, tal como ajuste por presión de interferencia, o ajuste por encogimiento de interferencia, por adhesivo, por soldadura ultrasónica o por otra técnica adecuada. Las Figuras 3A-3C ilustran otro método más de fabricación del recipiente. Una vez más, la preforma 24 es inicialmente formada en la Figura 3A. No obstante, en esta modalidad, el cuello 28 de la preforma es radial y circunferencialmente expandido para formar el cuello 22 del recipiente antes de moldear por soplado el cuerpo 12 del recipiente . El anillo de acabado 14 es luego externamente asegurado al cuello 22 de preforma expandido en la Figura 3C, y el cuerpo de la preforma es moldeado por soplado para formar el cuerpo del recipiente como en la Figura 2B. El anillo 14 de acabado podría ser alternativamente asegurado para expandir el cuello 22 subsecuente al soplado del cuerpo del recipiente. La preforma 24 puede ser de cualquier construcción de plástico adecuada, tal como PET monocapa o construcción de capas múltiples de capas de PET alternadas con capas de resina de barrera tal como alcohol etilenvinílico (EVOH) o nailon. La preforma 24 puede ser moldeada por inyección o moldeada por compresión. De igual modo, el anillo de acabado 14 puede ser de construcción de plástico moldeada por inyección o compresión. Al proporcionar el anillo de acabado 14 separado de la preforma 24, el anillo de acabado 14 puede ser de cualquier construcción de material deseado, ya sea igual que o más preferentemente diferente de la construcción de material de la preforma. Por ejemplo, el anillo de acabado puede ser de PET, resina para post-consumidor (PCR) , remolienda de proceso (REG) , polipropileno (PP) , polietileno (PE) o naftalato de polietileno (PEN) . Donde el anillo de acabado es de construcción de poliéster (por ejemplo, PET, PEN o remolienda de proceso) , el anillo de acabado puede ser total o parcialmente cristalizado conforme es moldeado. Esto puede ser logrado mediante el empleo de materiales de rápida cristalización o condiciones de proceso de ajuste adecuado para la fabricación del anillo de acabado, tal como la alta temperatura del molde, enfriamiento lento del molde, áreas calientes en la cavidad del molde, etc. El anillo de acabado alternativamente puede ser total o parcialmente cristalizado en la operación de post-moldeo. En otras palabras, el material y las condiciones de fabricación del anillo de acabado pueden ser seleccionadas separadamente del material y las condiciones de fabricación de la preforma para lograr las características de operación deseadas en el área de acabado de la preforma y el recipiente final. Además, la preforma puede ser moldeada con secciones de pared delgadas sin tener que acomodar el flujo de material en un área de acabado más gruesa, lo cual reduce el costo de material y el tiempo de ciclo de moldeo. El anillo de acabado y/o el cuello de la preforma pueden estar provistos con medios adecuados para prevenir la rotación del anillo sobre el cuello. De este modo, se ha descrito un montaje de recipiente, un montaje de preforma y los métodos para la fabricación del recipiente y los montajes de preforma que satisfacen completamente todos los objetivos y metas previamente descritos. La invención ha sido descrita en conjunto con dos modalidades actualmente preferidas de la misma, y han sido discutidas otras modificaciones y variaciones . Modificaciones y variaciones adicionales serán sugeridas fácilmente por sí mismas a las personas de experiencia ordinaria en la técnica. 4. El método de conformidad con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado de plástico es de construcción de material seleccionado del grupo que consiste de: PET, PP, PE, PEN, REG, PCR y poliéster total o parcialmente cristalizado.
5. Un método para fabricar un montaj e de preforma para moldeo por soplado de un recipiente, caracterizado porque incluye los pasos de: (a) proporcionar una preforma de plástico moldeada que tiene un cuerpo y un cuello cilindrico con una superficie externa, (b) proporcionar un anillo de acabado de plástico, moldeado, (c) expandir el cuello de la preforma, y (d) asegurar el anillo de acabado a la superficie externa del cuello de la preforma después de la expansión en el paso (c) .
6. El método de conformidad con la reivindicación 5, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado tiene al menos una rosca externa y una pestaña de soporte externa en un extremo axial del anillo.
7. El método de conformidad con la reivindicación 5, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado es externamente asegurado al cuello cilindrico por ajuste de interferencia, adhesivo o soldadura.
8. El método de conformidad con la reivindicación 5 , caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado de plástico es de una construcción de material diferente de la preforma de plástico .
9. El método de conformidad con la reivindicación 5, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado de plástico es de una construcción de material seleccionado del grupo que consiste de: PET, PP, PE, PEN, REG, PCR y poliéster total o parcialmente cristalizado.
10. Un recipiente de plástico, caracterizado porque es fabricado de acuerdo con el método de conformidad con la reivindicación 1.
11. Un montaje de preforma, caracterizado porque es fabricado de acuerdo al método de conformidad con la reivindicación 5.
12. Un recipiente de plástico caracterizado porque incluye un cuerpo y un acabado externamente roscado, el acabado incluye un cuello cilindrico integralmente moldeado con el cuerpo y que tiene un diámetro que ha sido estirado subsecuente al moldeo del cuello, y un anillo de acabado con al menos una rosca externa, externamente asegurada al cuello.
13. El recipiente de conformidad con la reivindicación 12, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado es externamente asegurado al cuello por ajuste de interferencia, adhesivo o soldadura.
14. El recipiente de conformidad con la reivindicación 12, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado de plástico es de una construcción de material diferente de la preforma de plástico.
15. El recipiente de conformidad con la reivindicación 12, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado de plástico es de una construcción de material seleccionado del grupo que consiste de: PET, PP, PE, PEN, REG, PCR y poliéster total o parcialmente cristalizado.
16. Un montaje de preforma de plástico, caracterizado porque incluye: una preforma de plástico moldeada que tiene un cuerpo y un cuello cilindrico con una superficie externa, el cuello ha sido radial y circunferencialmente expandido subsecuente al moldeo de la preforma, y un anillo de acabado de plástico moldeado separadamente de la preforma y externamente asegurado al cuello sobre la superficie .
17. El montaje de preforma de conformidad con la reivindicación 16, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado es externamente asegurado al cuello mediante ajuste de interferencia, adhesivo o soldadura.
18. El montaje de preforma de conformidad con la reivindicación 16, caracterizado porgue el anillo de acabado de plástico es de una construcción de material diferente de la preforma de plástico.
19. El montaje de preforma de conformidad con la reivindicación 16, caracterizado porque el anillo de acabado de plástico es de una construcción de material seleccionado del grupo que consiste de: PET, PP, PE, PEN, REG, PCR y poliéster total o parcialmente cristalizado.
