Abstract
La invencion proporciona un copolimero en bloque de ramificaciones multiples para utilizarse en el suministro de una variedad de agentes bioactivos. El copolimero de la invencion contiene un nucleo central a partir del cual se extienden multiples (3 o mas) ramificaciones copolimericas. Cada ramificacion copolimerica posee un segmento polipeptidico interno y un segmento polimerico hidrofilico externo. De esta forma, la estructura total del copolimero comprende una region nucleo interna que incluye el nucleo central y el segmento polipeptidico interno, mientras que la region nucleo externa es hidrofilica por naturaliza. El copolimero de ramificaciones multiples de la invencion es particularmente util para el suministro de agentes biologicamente activos que se pueden atrapar dentro de la region nucleo interna.
