Abstract
Se proporciona un sistema (Figura 1A) y un metodo (Figura 1B) para una actualizacion continua de la optimizacion de multiples variables de control operacional durante la operacion de un reactor nuclear durante una pluralidad de ciclos de combustible. Un sistema de computadora en red (11) incluye uno o mas huespedes (10) programados para ejecutar un procedimiento de optimizacion (Figura 6B) para identificar y hacer cambios en valores cuantitativos de variables de control operacionales que dan como resultado una eficiencia mejorada y flexibilidad operacional. La optimizacion y actualizacion de las variables de control operacionales pueden proseguir selectivamente bajo el control manual introduciendo restricciones de optimizacion especificas y la informacion de punto de estado de reactor o pueden proseguir automaticamente a traves de una realizacion repetitiva del procedimiento de optimizacion basandose en una estrategia definida por el usuario, predeterminada almacenada en la red. Las comunicaciones entre los usuarios y procesadores en red son facilitadas a traves del uso de un servidor de TCP/IP (16) conectado a la lnternet (18), de manera que las porciones del procedimiento de optimizacion pueden ser conducidas contemporaneamente en sitios lejanos (15) y/o los resultados se hacen accesibles a los usuarios a traves de computadoras habilitadas por examinadores convencionales.
