Abstract
The invention relates to a system for generating electricity using sea swell. The inventive system comprises a resonance chamber having a water inlet and a water outlet in the form of two parallel horizontal conduits which project out towards the front and which are provided with unidirectional valves, by means of which water enters the chamber alternately. For this purpose, the swell enters the chamber and, when the external pressure exerted by the swell on the inlet ceases, the water deposited in said chamber is released. In this way, the passage of an alternating current is enabled which causes the blades of a turbine to rotate and in turn drives an electricity generator in any type of pump system or any motor mechanism. The inventive system can be installed on a wave breaker, a needle, a bluff or any similar coastal location that experiences a strong swell.
