Abstract

Improvement in fences and security walls for sport fields in general comprehended at least around part of the perimeter of a playing field and placed between it and the watching public, a plurality of spaced apart vertical posts (1, 2). Between each pair of said vertical posts is placed a rod (3) defining with the floor a frame, inside which is individually fixed and held a portion of metal wire net or metallic gauze (5). Over each rod (3) is placed a flat panel (6) made of transparent material and is created through the metal wire net or metallic gauze a bottom zone of air, water and/or gas free passage. The top panels create a barrier for the temporary contention of gases (as tear gas) and at the same time induce an air stream to quickly dissipate them. The same way, such plates, without impeding the view of the watchers, define an efficient barrier against things thrown from the tribune to the playing field.

Description

IMPROVEMENTS IN FENCES AND SAFETY FENCES FOR SPORTS FIELDS Description The present patent of invention has as its object the improvements of fences and security fences for sports fields in general. Field of Application of the Invention As indicated by its title, the present invention tends to improve the existing fences that separate the spectator audience attending a sporting event, from the playing field and its players, referees, auxiliary personnel and journalists, etc. , which are inside the field of play. Antecedents of the Invention It is common practice to separate the spectators who attend a sporting event, from the proper playing field, in certain sports where a great mass of people, preventing them from accessing the playing field, within which the event takes place. The considerations for this practice are well known, and we can briefly summarize them in: a) Needs to preserve the stipulated schedules of the beginning of the meeting. Indeed, if we consider a football match that must be broadcast live on television with satellite employment, transmission times must be strictly respected, either by the cost of transmission rental, as per the commitments scheduled at international level, whose breach may lead to the cut of satellite transmission due to expiration of the term before the end of the meeting, with high costs, and according to the cases, with contractual penalties. b) Necessities of preserving the physical integrity of the players, the referee and other personnel directly affected, such as journalists, or affected the game. In this case the comments against the repeated news, of the aggressions suffered by the archers, referees and other players consisting of blows, projectiles that rain down from the stands, and other misconduct of the public. c) The need for the different events of the same tournament to begin in the stadiums at the same time, in order not to give sports advantages if one of them starts later and in this way a sport advantage would be granted, when the teams are disputing parties whose outcome, if known in advance, could or could damage them, depending on the case, since they could imply the rise or fall of the category that they play. To prevent and avoid these excesses, have created barriers, barriers, barriers with moats, etc., creating obstacles supposedly insurmountable for viewers. The perimeter pits to the sports field are not always practicable for reasons of space, and cost, while introducing situations for users of other sports when they perform athletics competitions, which as a rule can be practiced in the perimeter of a sports field, which would become occupied, at least partially by said pit. In addition, these pits usually collect all kinds of waste, water, etc. And its cleaning requires additional costs. Fences and fences are other widely used resources. We can recognize two types: those of wire fabrics, and the fences formed by vertical walls made of a translucent material. These fences in wire mesh, or wire fabrics, lying on the ground and surrounding the playing field, present a drawback; the misfits who attend an event can climb the same, regardless of height and sometimes without also importing the eventual barbed wire arranged in crowning, and invade the field of play or that some spectator is sitting on the top or crowning of the fence or fenced. The fences made by sheets or plates of smooth, resistant and translucent material are also used.
These solve the problem of the invasion of the playing field, because the statutory height (7 meters) prevents it from being opened, but its drawbacks are that they cancel on the one hand air circulation, and on the other hand they prevent the security forces (when circumstances require it) from inside the field of play to use fire hoses, or to throw gases to subdue riots or serious excesses. On the other hand, its cost is excessive, and requires a costly cleaning and maintenance of the surfaces. Objectives of the Present Invention It is the main objective of the present invention to create a fence that is impassable to the public, preventing it from climbing up to the top of the same, and at the same time allowing air circulation. It is also an objective of the invention, that this perimeter fence allows the security forces to make use of their hoses, gas launchers, and all other means to the affection, through said fence. It is also an objective of the invention, that this fence is composed of modules of easy and simple repair, with an approximate length between 2 and 3 meters each, so that the deterioration of a module does not imply the deterioration of the rest of the fence. It is ultimately the objective of the invention that the upper half of the said fencing, no element thereof present protrusion, seat or step that can facilitate through them, the rise of the public to win its crowning.
Compendium of the invention Improvements in fences and security fences for sports fields in general, of the type comprising a plurality of posts or vertical elements in solidarity with the ground, regularly spaced, and arranged at least surrounding part of the perimeter of the playing area, separating to the public of the playing field, having and between each pair of posts, an area with wire mesh, characterized in that between each pair of first and second vertical posts, a transverse cross member secured to said first and second vertical posts is arranged and arranged at an intermediate height between the ground and its upper ends, said first and second vertical posts defining said transversal crosspiece and the floor, a frame within which a portion of wire fabric is fastened and tensioned according to its four sides, said fabric being of mesh fastened and tensioned between these first and second posts, independent of the portions of wing fabric mers arranged and individually tensioned with respect to third posts immediately adjacent to the first and second posts, the cross members being arranged between one of said first and second posts and a third post, substantially at the same height with respect to the ground and independent of one another in your link to these posts; on each of said crosspieces, seating between each pair of first and second posts, a substantially smooth plate and translucent material is arranged. do, which extends to the upper end of said posts, said plate, poles and crossbars presenting smooth surfaces without any protrusion; said lower portion of wire mesh fabric determining a zone for free passage of air, and / or gases, while the upper zone of fencing determines a gas containment wall and a rising air current induction. Detailed Description Based on the aforementioned combination, many are the realizations that materialize, but with the purpose of specifying the advantages thus briefly exposed, to which the users will be able to add many others more and to facilitate the understanding of the constructive and functional characteristics of the present invention, a preferred embodiment is described below, which is illustrated in the accompanying sheets with the clarification that, being an example, it is not appropriate to assign a limiting nature of the scope of protection of the present invention patent, rather, it simply assists a purely explanatory and illustrative purpose of the basic conception on which it is based. Figure 1 shows in top perspective a perimeter section of a generic playing field, such as a soccer field, fenced with the fence of the present invention; Figure 2 shows a vertical section of a schematic grandstand area, and the fence or enclosure of the invention where the effect of temporary accumulation of gases, and the induced air sweep is illustrated; Figure 3 shows an enlarged detail of this fence or fence, in perspective. In the cited figures, with the same references, the same components and means illustrated therein are identified. It is indicated with (1) to a first post, with (2) being a second post. Between both poles (1, 2) is arranged at an intermediate height to both, and parallel to the ground, a crossbar (3), which can be eventually supplemented by a crossbar (4), or the ground failing, define a frame within which it is secured and tensioned in area or surface of mesh fabric (5), the area of fabric (5) is linked to its frame and tensioned therein individually with respect to the adjacent areas (5), it is say; the tissue is discontinuous and covers only the area enclosed by each frame thus defined. This allows to quickly change an area of damaged tissue, without having to disturb the adjacent ones, nor affect their tensioning. On each crossbar (3) there is arranged between each pair of posts (1, 2) a smooth plate (6) of a translucent material, such as an acrylic plate, laminated glass, polycarbonate, etc. The poles and crossbars have curved surfaces, smooth, without protuberance and with rounded arrangements. Figure 2 shows how it is possible to pass water and / or gases directly through the zones (5) towards thetribunes, and the gas cloud (7) such as tear gas, is initially retained and concentrated by the plate walls (6), for a short time, allowing to increase its dissuasive effect. In turn, making use of the well-known principle that any wall with an open space downwards and interposed to a horizontal air current induces a circulating column of rising air, the arrows (8) symbolize said air current which (according to the direction of the wind) dislodges said gas cloud one way or another after its short stay. In figure 3 a mesh of different composition is illustrated in (5"), to symbolize that the mesh fabrics can be more open, more closed and of different conformation Obviously, this fence or fencing can be arranged around the whole perimeter of the playing field, or enclosing only part of it, in turn, the translucent plates (6) apart from allowing a correct view by the spectators, prevents objects from being thrown from the tribune inside the court, and At the same time in selective sites, it is possible to apply advertising legends or the like, at a suitable height, without disturbing the spectator the correct vision of the playing field and of the players.
