Abstract
The present discloses a device which allows saving water by means of the adequate selection of the correspondent conduct for eliminating, on one hand, the liquid wastes contained in the toilet bowl, and on the other, the solid and liquid wastes contained in the toilet bowl, all by means of the use of the double-purpose device which uses two flushes orifices with their respective valve for such purpose.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
DOUBLE PURPOSE DISPOSAL DEVICE FOR TOILET
Nowadays, a problem that grows as the population increases is the obtaining and conservation of water, life depends to a great extent on the use and saving of the vital liquid, which is an indispensable element for the operation of the toilet. very useful instrument used daily by man for his health and hygiene, and which consists of two main parts, the tank that contains the water and the cup, which is the place where human waste is deposited, both liquid and solid product of the daily intake of food. Here it is important to highlight the fact that this instrument uses drinking water as an essential element for its operation, so that saving water is of utmost importance given its scarcity and high cost for its collection, purification and conservation. Generally the water tank and its storage capacity vary depending on the brand of toilet in the market, being the technique known up to now to eliminate the products contained in the toilet bowl, releasing, unloading or letting the water run inside the toilet. cup so that by means of the gravity, speed and direction of the water contained in the deposit, the waste passes from the cup to the drainage network of the house, and from there to the main network of the city, this traditional system being inadequate for the current circumstances of water shortage, since every time the toilet is used to dispose of the urine, all the liquid contained in the tank is used, this being an average amount of between 10 and 12 liters. In order to save and make more efficient the use of water during the operation of the toilet, a double discharge device made of PVC has been designed, which allows, on the one hand, and as a first step, to discharge an approximate amount of water. one third of the water contained in the tank, enough to displace the liquids and some low density products contained in the cup, such as urine and disposable paper; and on the other hand and as a second step, move the solid products of greater density or weight contained in the cup, which is done by discharging a greater amount of water than mentioned in the first step, and thus eliminate the products poured into the cup, allowing that way and depending on the product contained in the cup, determine and consciously discern in using only a part of the water, or using almost all the water contained in the tank. The above is very useful and saves water, since during the day the toilet is used mainly to dispose of liquids, as is the case with urine, or when using only one third of the water contained in the tank, it allows a use efficient water and a savings in every way.
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a dual purpose flushing device for toilets, which allows selecting the amount of water to be discharged from the toilet tank, depending on the type of debris found in the cup, and that said device adapts to any type of traditional toilet, since its design allows inserting it in the place of the discharge base that connects to the tank or tank with the cup, and without any modification or adaptation, representing this an additional advantage of the device, since together with the The material with which it is built (PVC), is accessible and easy to install without the need for a special tool, and is clearly shown in the accompanying figures. In figure number 1, we can see the tank or tank which contains the traditional elements or components such as (1) inlet valve, (2) lever with chain, (3) outlet valve with overflow or breathing tube, (4) valve or toad cap, (5) rod with float. Likewise in figure number 1, the traditional method and technique of using the toilet can be appreciated, by means of the discharge of all the liquid contained in the tank through an orifice or outlet valve located at the base of the tank itself, in where the shut-off valve self-executes until the level of water contained in the tank has been almost completely discharged, regardless of the pouring content of the cup. In figure number 2, we find a profile of the device product of the invention, which is composed of two parts, (1) primary body, which is introduced into the hole of the discharge base that connects the deposit with the rate; (2) secondary body, which is coupled to the primary body and which is adjusted at the time of installation to dose the amount of water that will come out of the discharge; (3) primary discharge conduit; (4) valve or toad for the primary discharge conduit; (5) secondary discharge conduit and; (6) valve or toad for secondary discharge duct. In Figure 3, the front device is presented and in it the primary body of the device is perceived and appreciated (1), and which in turn contains the primary discharge conduit (3), it is also seen (2) the secondary body of the device, and also containing the secondary discharge conduit (5), it is to be noted that the diameter of the discharge orifice of both the primary and secondary conduit, have the same diameter of the orifice of the discharge valve that connects the tank with the toilet bowl, therefore the water entering the toilet bowl for the discharge of both liquid and solid waste from the toilet bowl, depends on the diameter of the discharge valve located in the base of the toilet tank and that joins the toilet with the toilet. In figure number 4, we find the device product of the invention inserted and already forming an integral part of the tank or tank of the toilet, and wherein said device is complemented with the handle and a lever extended with two chains (7), one of the The chains are attached to the valve of the primary discharge duct, and the other chain is attached to the valve of the secondary discharge duct. Additionally, it is also complemented by an extended rod to support the float that regulates the entrance of the liquid to the tank through the inlet valve (8), the use of said rod being to adapt the fields or distribution distances for the proper functioning of the device. of double purpose discharge inside the deposit. The operation of the dual purpose device for the case of the first stage in the evacuation of the urine inside the cup, is carried out by manipulating the handle in a soft manner and in the traditional manner, which allows that way that the chain that joins the rod lift the valve of the primary discharge allowing the passage of water to the cup, and in that way and taking into account that the water develops a speed and fall as a waterfall, it induces the liquids contained in the cup towards down the drain that leads to the drain of the house, which is below the seat of the cup and next to the floor, thus allowing to obtain a considerable saving of water, said movement and action is observed in the figure number (4) ), where the level of water inside the tank is appreciated once this maneuver has been carried out, observing also that the secondary discharge valve does not move at any time and therefore does not allow the discharge the rest
90 liquid inside the cup, since this would require a stronger movement of the handle, appreciating the above water savings between the traditional system and the dual purpose discharge system product of the invention. In the second stage and in the case of evacuation of both liquids and solids from the toilet bowl, the total and downward movement of the handle that holds the chains attached to the two discharge valves is carried out, in such a way that said movement allows the
100 opening of both valves, producing a discharge of the entire liquid from the tank to the cup as shown in figure number (5), not interfering or being an obstacle at any time that the discharge is done by two conduits, each time that what regulates
The volume of the outlet of the liquids necessary for the discharge is contemplated by the diameter of the exit orifice located in the base of the discharge valve that joins the tank with the toilet bowl.
Claims (1)
- R E I V I N D I C A C I O N S We claim as our property the following: A dual-purpose toilet flushing device, consisting of two pieces that constitute a cylindrical unit of PVC, which contains two discharge ducts, each with its respective valve or traditional toad, and through which and by means of the discharge of the water contained in the deposit that falls as a cascade from and through the device, allows to dislodge the contents of the toilet bowl in two stages; the first using a primary discharge conduit of adjustable measure for the evacuation of liquid waste contained in the cup, using for it approximately one third of the water in the tank, and the second stage, with the simultaneous use of the two conduits of water. discharge (primary and secondary) to dislodge both liquid and solid waste contained in the toilet bowl. SUMMARY A water-saving device is described by the appropriate selection of the corresponding conduit for the elimination, on the one hand, of the liquid waste contained in the toilet bowl, and on the other hand, the elimination of solid and liquid waste contained in the toilet. toilet bowl, this by using the dual purpose device that uses two discharge orifices with its respective valve for that purpose.
