Abstract

Utilizando el proceso de esta invencion, los latices de caucho de nitrilo que tienen contenidos de solidos mayores del 60 por ciento se pueden preparar de latices de caucho nitrilo normales que tienen contenidos de solidos del menos del 30 por ciento. La presente invencion da a conocer de manera más específica un proceso para aumentar el contenido de solidos de un látex de caucho de nitrilo de bajo contenido de solidos, que comprende los pasos de (1) concentrar el látex de caucho de nitrilo de bajo contenido de solidos mediante la remocion de agua del mismo a fin de producir un látex de caucho de nitrilo de contenido intermedio de solidos que tiene un contenido de solidos que queda dentro de la escala de aproximadamente 35 por ciento a aproximadamente 45 por ciento, en donde el látex de caucho de nitrilo de bajo contenido de solidos tiene un contenido de solidos que es menor de aproximadamente 30 por ciento; (2) someter el látex de caucho de nitrilo de contenido intermedio de solidos a una presion que queda dentro de la escala de aproximadamente 3.45 x 106 Pa a aproximadamente 6.9 x 107 Pa, a una temperatura que queda dentro de la escala de aproximadamente 49 degree C a 77 degree C a fin de producir un látex de caucho de nitrilo aglomerado a presion; y (3) concentrar además el látex de caucho de nitrilo aglomerado a presion mediante la remocion de agua del mismo a fin de producir un látex de caucho de nitrilo de alto contenido de solidos que tiene un contenido de solidos mayor de aproximadamente 60 por ciento.
