Abstract

Se presentan métodos para producir poliaspartatos articulados solubles de alto peso molecular a partir de polisuccinimida reticulada. En un aspecto de método preferido, la polisuccinimida reacciona primero con un agente de reticulacion orgánico, de preferencia una base orgánica que contiene por lo menos dos grupos de amina primaria para formar una polisuccinimida reticulada. La polisuccinimida reticulada se hidroliza entonces para dar poliaspartato reticulado que es soluble en solventes polares, preferentemente, agua alcohol y mezclas de los mismos. Se presentan aspectos alternativos del método en los cuales los poliaspartatos reticulados solubles se producen en un solo recipiente de reaccion reticulando secuencialmente la polisuccinimida con el agente de reticulacion orgánico en una mezcla de reaccion e hidrolizando el producto formando el poliaspartato reticulado.
