Abstract

Las cadenas variables de dos anticuerpos monoclonales humanos (HMAbs) del isotipo IgM que están caracterizadas por la elucidacion de cDNAs que codifican dichas cadenas. Las HMAbs son específicas contra antígenos asociados a un glioma, independientes del ciclo celular y los anticuerpos no reconocen astrocitos humanos normales cultivados. Los inmunoconjugados basados en las secuencias identificadas debería atacar las células de gliomas in vivo, ya sean proliferantes o no proliferantes, proveyendo por lo tanto, una terapia auxiliar valiosa en el tratamiento de estos tumores.
