Abstract
Una tira de reactivos de prueba de capas multiples mide la concentracion de un analito en una muestra líquida que se aplica a la misma; la muestra es guiada a un numero de áreas de prueba dispuestas a lo largo de la tira, en donde el analito puede reaccionar con un reactivo para causar un cambio de color; cada área de prueba también incluye un inhibidor para la reaccion de cambio de color; la concentracion del inhibidor aumenta en áreas de prueba sucesivas; así, el numero de áreas que cambian de color es una medida de la concentracion del analito; la tira está particularmente adaptada para medir glucosa en una muestra de sangre intacta; en una modalidad preferida, la muestra es guiada a las áreas de prueba a lo largo de una ruta formada por áreas seleccionadas de trituracion de una membrana, y las áreas de prueba son áreas no trituradas de la membrana.
