Abstract

Un procedimiento para la reparación in situ de suelos contaminados, que comprende: (a) formar por lo menos una región permeable al líquido, dentro de la región de suelo contaminado; (b) introducir material para tratamiento de contaminantes en la región de suelo contaminado, dentro de las regiones permeables al líquido, para formar por lo menos una zona de tratamiento de la región de suelo contaminado; (c) transmitir corriente eléctrica a través de la región de suelo contaminado electrodo y un segundo electrodo que tiene carga opuesta; en donde el primer electrodo está localizado en un primer extremo de la región de suelo contaminado, y el segundo electrodo esta localizado en el extremo opuesto de la región de suelo contaminado, para provocar un flujo electroosmótico desde el segundo hasta el primer electrodos.
