Abstract
Se proporciona una unidad pirolizadora y hornos de dos etapas, en un montaje de horno compacto, para quemar hulla para generar energía. La hulla se hace reaccionar en el pirolizador para producir un gas combustible, caliente, limpio y coque o escorias. El gas combustible caliente se quema en el horno de primera etapa, que contienen un intercambiador de calor de alta temperatura, utilizado para calentar una corriente de aire presurizada, para la expansión en una turbina de gas y un intercambiador de calor para sobrecalentar el vapor para la expansión en una turbina de vapor, para producir energía. El coque o escorias de hulla se quema en el horno de segunda etapa y los productos resultantes de la combustión se mezclan con el gas de combustión primaria del horno de primera etapa, para producir un gas de combustión secundaria y precalentar la corriente de aire presurizada y también para sobrecalentar el vapor. La corriente de aire calentada se expande en una turbina de gas para producir energía en el árbol para impulsar un compresor de aire y un generador de energía eléctrica. Los gases del conducto de humo de la combustión secundaria, calientes y el escape de aire caliente de la turbina de gas, se usan para precalentar agua presurizada, para generar el vapor para el ciclo de la turbina de vapor.
