Abstract

Un nodo (10) de red señaliza a un dispositivo (14) de comunicación inalámbrica cuáles precodificadores se restringen de utilizarse en un libro de códigos. El nodo (10) de red en este respecto genera señalización de restricción de subconjunto de libro de códigos que, para cada uno de uno o más grupos de precodificadores, restringe conjuntamente los precodificadores en el grupo al restringir un componente determinado (por ejemplo, un precodificador de haces determinado) que los precodificadores en el grupo tienen en común. Esta señalización puede ser por ejemplo señalización agnóstica de rango que restringe conjuntamente los precodificadores en un grupo sin importar el rango de transmisión de los precodificadores. Independientemente, el nodo (10) de red envía la señalización generada al dispositivo (14) de comunicación inalámbrica. Un nodo (10) de red señaliza a un dispositivo (14) de comunicación inalámbrica cuáles precodificadores se restringen de utilizarse en un libro de códigos. Para cada uno de uno o más grupos del libro de códigos el nodo identifica una o más configuraciones de referencia para el grupo, en donde cada configuración de referencia es una de diferentes configuraciones posibles que restringen de utilizarse diferentes subgrupos de precodificadores en el grupo; identifica, a partir de diferentes configuraciones posibles del grupo, una configuración actual que se señalará para el grupo; y genera señalización para indicar la configuración actual para el grupo, al generar las señalizaciones como un patrón de bits cuya longitud depende de (i) si la configuración actual coincide con una o más configuraciones de referencia y/o (ii) cuál configuración de referencia coincide con la configuración actual; y enviar la señalización generada al dispositivo (14) de comunicación inalámbrica.
