Abstract

An air-conditioning apparatus includes an outdoor unit 10 including a compressor 11, an outdoor heat exchanger 13, an expansion device 14, and an outdoor fan 15 which blows air to the outdoor heat exchanger, and an indoor unit 20 including an indoor heat exchanger 21 and an indoor fan 22 which blows air to the indoor heat exchanger, and in which the compressor, the outdoor heat exchanger, the expansion device, and the indoor heat exchanger are sequentially connected by a refrigerant pipe 18 to form a refrigerant circuit. An indoor control device 23 calculates a value ? T of a temperature difference between an indoor temperature TR detected by a room temperature sensor 24 and a preset indoor temperature TS set by an operation on a remote controller, and determines the rotation speed N of an indoor fan in an indoor unit on the basis of the calculated value ? T of the temperature difference and the operating frequency Q of the compressor in the outdoor unit 10.
