Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con la aplicación y uso de una composición química para modificar las propiedades físicas (viscosidad y la tensión interfacial) de petróleos crudos pesados y extrapesados, para incrementar su movilidad. La composición química consiste de la combinación de sistemas a base de líquidos iónicos o no iónicos, dependiendo del carácter del petróleo crudo, o de su modificación original mediante reacción de polimerización con oxirano; estos agentes químicos pueden dispersarse en el medio acuoso u orgánico; en el primer caso la composición integrada en fase acuosa se usa en condiciones de temperatura entre 5 y 90 ºC, presiones desde 1 atm hasta 340.23 atm (5,000 psi), y en condiciones ácido-base dentro del intervalo de pH entre 4 y 12.5, aunque se prefiere un régimen básico para ciertos crudos, entre un pH de 7 y 12.5, mientras que otros se manejan en condiciones neutras o ácidas, por ejemplo entre un pH de 4 y 7; en el segundo caso, el medio dispersante es orgánico y consiste de una composición de al menos un solvente genérico, hasta tres, además de un agente surfactante a base de un amfifilo sulfonado con cadena de hidrocarburo de 12 a 16 carbonos y un catión a base de alquilamina, en las proporciones mencionadas en el cuerpo de la invención. Dichas aplicaciones se realizan en distintas etapas de la explotación de petróleo crudo pesado, desde la etapa de extracción, a fondo de pozo o en el yacimiento, o durante el transporte del petróleo crudo en oleoductos de superficie o en las líneas de descarga de los pozos productores; para ello de emplea un sistema de mezclado y bombeo a presión; para inyectar la composición química, para obtener una reducción sustancial de la viscosidad del fluido original, mejorándose la operación durante las etapas de producción, transporte y procesamiento de los crudos pesados y extrapesados.
