Abstract

La fracción de nafta media es mezclada con hidrógeno y gasoil para formar una mezcla, la cual es puesta en contacto con un catalizador de hidrodesulfuración para producir una fracción de nafta media que tiene una concentración de azufre reducida. Luego, las fracciones de nafta ligera, pesada y media pueden ser recombinadas para formar un producto hidrodesulfurado que tiene un contenido de azufre de menos de 10 ppm en algunas modalidades.
