Abstract

Es descrito un sistema y método de suministro de gránulos de alta velocidad para la distribución de gránulos en patrones intermitentes sobre un substrato revestido de asfalto en movimiento en la manufactura de tejas para techos. El sistema incluye una tolva de gránulos y una rueda de receptáculo rotacionalmente indexada en la parte inferior de la tolva. Una serie de receptáculos es formada en la circunferencia de la rueda y los receptáculos son separados por los salientes elevados. Los patrones bien definidos de gránulos son posibles a altas velocidades de producción. También es descrito un método para la creación de una definición nítida de color lineal entre los parches de gránulos a altas velocidades lineales.
