Abstract

Un sistema y método que determina la permeabilidad de formación y/o por lo menos una propiedad que indica la permeabilidad de formación de un depósito geológico subterráneo que tiene flujo radial. Los datos de presión se obtienen con una sonda de observación durante una prueba de formación, en donde la sonda de observación se localiza en una posición de ajuste dentro de un pozo de orificio abierto formado dentro del depósito. El sistema y método miden la respuesta de flujo radial del depósito en o adyacente a la posición de ajuste de la sonda de observación mediante el análisis de los datos de presión recopilados. La permeabilidad de formación y/o por lo menos una propiedad que indica la permeabilidad de depósito se determinan con base en la respuesta de flujo radial medido del depósito en, o adyacente a, la sonda de observación.
