Abstract

Un método de revestimiento por goteo de una tira de acero (16) que se mueve en un baño líquido (9) de metal, tal como zinc, o de aleación de metal contenida en un tanque (15), por medio del cual las matas que se forman durante el revestimiento y que flotan sobre la superficie (10) del baño (9) se mueven de la superficie de la tira (16), a través de al menos un inductor (11-15), cada inductor (11-15) produce u campo electromagnético de corrido orientado en una dirección dada y generando una fuerza magnetomotriz, todas las fuerzas magnetomotrices mueven dichas matas hacia un contenedor (19) destinado para recolectar dichas matas y/o hacia una zona (25) de la superficie (10) del baño (9) donde se desechan, caracterizado porque, para al menos uno de dichos inductores (11-15), dicha dirección del campo electromagnético de recorrido de los mismo es intermitentemente inversa de tal manera que modifique los flujos de las matas dentro del tanque (15). Se describe una Instalación para implementar dicho método.
