Abstract

Un óxido mixto multimetálico laminar (LMMO) que se caracteriza por uno o más picos de difracción a 5<2?<15, de preferencia entre 10<2 ? <15. Los catalizadores pueden ser representados por la fórmula general: Ml M2 M3 Od en donde: M1 se selecciona a partir del grupo de Ag, Au, Zn, Sn, Rh, Pd, Pt, Cu, Ni, Fe, Co, un metal alcalino, un metal alcalinotérreo, un metal de tierra rara, y/o mezclas de los mismos; M2 se selecciona a partir del grupo de Ti, Hf, Zr, Sn, Bi, Sb, V, Nb, Ta y P, y/o mezclas de los mismos; M3 se selecciona a partir del grupo de Mo, W y Cr, y/o mezclas de los mismos; d depende de la cantidad y estado de oxidación o valencia de los otros componentes; también depende de los materiales de partida, del método de preparación, y del proceso de activación; y en donde el catalizador exhibe al menos un pico de difracción de rayos-X entre 5<2?<1 5.
