Abstract
La presente invención pertenece a un dispositivo y método de procesamiento de imágenes que permite que reducciones en calidad de imagen se minimicen. Se proporcionan; una unidad de establecimiento de valor de umbral que establece, de acuerdo con la profundidad de bits de los datos de imagen, un valor de umbral para identificar características de los pixeles circundantes de un bloque actual en un proceso de intra-predicción realizado cuando se codifican los datos de imagen; y una unidad de filtrado que filtra los pixeles circundantes al utilizar un filtro apropiado para las características de los pixeles circundantes identificados al utilizar el valor de umbral establecido por la unidad de establecimiento de valor de umbral. La presente invención puede aplicarse a un dispositivo de procesamiento de imágenes, por ejemplo.
