Abstract
Se describe un material de hule, modificado con un material de barrera en forma de un copolímero que pude ser producido por polimerización por metátesis con apertura de anillo de a) por lo menos un monómero de olefina seleccionado del grupo que consiste de monómeros de olefina monocíclicos que tienen uno o dos dobles enlaces C-C endocíclicos y monómeros de olefina bicíclicos que tienen un doble enlace C-C endocíclico y b) por lo menos un monómero de olefina policíclico que tiene por lo menos dos dobles enlaces C-C. El material de barrera se puede usar para reducir la permeabilidad a gases del material de hule.
