Abstract

Un método para controlar o detener la velocidad de despolimerización de una composición de polímero durante un tratamiento con biocida, y uso de tales métodos en aplicaciones de campo petrolífero e industriales. También se describen métodos para preparar un fluido de aplicación visco-estable que contiene un biocida en una cantidad efectiva para reducir el conteo de bacterias, así como composiciones de aditivo capaces de reducir el conteo de bacterias en fluidos de aplicación mientras que se mantiene la viscosidad en tales fluidos. También se describen métodos para preparar fluidos de aplicación que contienen biocida con propiedades de reducción de fricción mejoradas, así como composiciones relacionadas.
